History

In 1984 Kronberg’s former Woge Taxi became Taxi Hinz Zuber. At that time only a few taxis were available for the streets of Kronberg, and the drivers still worked with analog radios and dispatchers with paper and pencil. The town of Kronberg grew steadily and with it, its customer base. The Hinz Zuber taxi fleet continually increased, expanding the company in size, so that in 1996 its legal status changed to a GmbH (L.L.C.).

Since then the technical state of Kronberg’s Taxi Zuber has also evolved, i.e. with the placement of orders from our Control Center through modern “state-of- the art” computer technology. Taxi Zuber’s fleet of cars were the very first in the Rhine-Main area, to be equipped with digital displays and GPS, so the communication, positioning and locating was made possible by fast data transfer.

Today Taxi Zuber is a modern enterprise with its registered domicile located in the industrial area of Kronberg - Oberhöchstadt in the Niederhöchstädterstraße 64. The Central Dispatcher of today receives not only the calls of customers and passes the orders on to the drivers, he must also manage and coordinate the collective teamwork arrangement of 15 taxis and up to 70 calls per hour. This is done very carefully and precisely, in order to ensure that every passenger is served punctually and reliably. The Central Dispatcher is supported in this task by powerful high performance computers and a software system that is constantly renewed, developed and updated. In 2010, the system will be upgraded and modernized again to ensure the highest possible quality and satisfaction for our many existing and future customers.
